Because of sin, hostility existed between God and man, but God has sought to reconcile us back to himself through Christ. Once we experience that reconciliation with God, He has committed to us that message of reconciliation, which will also affect our own perspectives on life, as well as our relationships with others.

As we begin a series on Vineyard Values, we consider what Jesus meant by His Kingdom among us. To experience the Kingdom is to live with Jesus as your King. The Kingdom to come is manifest to us and through us now. It has come in power now. Followers of Jesus are to live in the upside-down values of His Kingdom.

We embrace God's saving, regenerating grace by recognizing our need for it, then receiving it and living out it's freedom. This best occurs within community. In community, we nurture our relationship with God, we cultivate the fruits of the Spirit, and we seek His guidance and transformation. We extend the community of grace in service to others.

The missional life involves walking with Jesus, and learning from him. He has a purpose for your life, and spiritual disciplines help you keep at it and stay focused.
