In the book of Luke, he recounts the life of Jesus and then continues to write about the Acts of the Apostles. At the beginning, the disciples and followers of Jesus were instructed to wait in prayer for further revelation. In these first two chapters, we find them persistent in prayer. Eventually, the Holy Spirit comes, the Church is unleashed, and all is made new. Waiting on the unknown is hard, because we don't have control. Nevertheless, in the waiting, there is training. The faith of the early believers was rewarded with power and transformation.
