As the early Church continues to grow, it faces conflict, yet the Spirit continues to work. They deal with ethnic tension and adapt to change by reorganizing their ministry, which results in growth and power. Many times, in our lives we need to step out of the box of familiarity, in order to experience God's work.

We also read of the life and death of Stephen, a normal man who opens himself to the work of the Spirit. Although he ends up being a martyr for Jesus, he had favor with God and influenced many into the Kingdom.
